Manufacturing Process
Manufactured using the best quality materials and manufacturing processes.
The Boards are produced from Wood fibres which are coated in HDPE recycled polymer plastic this is done under temperature to make sure that wood fibres are wrapped in plastic protection.
The wood fibres which are now coated in polymer and colour pigment are now extruded under temperature binding the fibres creating the deck board as every fibres is coated and coloured all the way through the board not just the surface this protects the wood from rotting and resists algae growth unlike wooden products and so offers a very high slip resistance.
The colours are imbedded so no staining is required, .
As the boards are made of 50% natural fibres sourced from sustainable forestry and is certified to the FSC certification the natural effect of the product will mature over the first few months then will establish a permanent natural colour.
Technical Information
Available In Light Grey, our fully reversible board offers a grooved finish or Ridged Pattern on the reverse a combination of these patterns can be used to create a different cosmetic effect, measuring 150mm x 25 mm and supplied in 2.8m lengths approximately weight per length of 7.5kgs
Your deck Contains UV stabilising pigments which are added during the manufacturing process these will help in the UV stabilising process it is completely normal that your boards will weather in the first few months of installation dependent on weather conditions and the colour will then stabilise to their permanent colour shade.
Care and Maintenance
Composite decking boards by their nature have been designed to be low maintenance.
In the event of spillage
Oil staines can be removed with mild household bleach as soon as staining occurs.
Red Wine and Berry Staines should be washed away immediately using a Mild Detergent to avoid permanent damage to your deck.
We strongly suggest that power washers are not used as these could invalid your warranty as a simple hose at low pressure is all that is needed, it is important to prevent Pollen and other airborne particles settling on your deck and causing damage so we suggest the deck should be cleaned at least twice a year.
Warranty
Offered with a 12 year residential limited manufacturers warranty subject to strict installation guidelines and using OEM manufacturers equipment.
